It is our mission to ensure you are completely satisfied with our products. We guarantee that your gift will arrive to your recipient in quality condition. Your completion satisfaction is our goal. If for any reason you are not satisfied, with the quality of a delivered product please e-mail us within five days of order receipt with the following information, order number, name, phone number, and the best time to contact you along with a detailed explanation of your complaint. We will contact you within two business days. Any complaint made outside the five day timeframe, will be handled on a case by case basis within reason. If after speaking to our customer service it is decided that the entire product needs to be returned and a refund is requested, we require the original gift received be returned to us intact and in the original box. If any of the contents contained in the gift basket have been eaten, opened or removed we reserve the right to deny a full or partial refund. Each Refund Request will be reviewed on a case by case basis.



Our orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS). Orders shipped to an incorrect address, (including zip code) or an outdated shipping addresses are not the responsibility of Basket Detectives-2, and no refunds or exchanges will be made. Please be sure to check your spelling and address information carefully before submitting your order, including proper suite and apartment numbers. Incorrect shipping information may delay your order or result in it not being receiving at all. Also be aware, we cannot ship to APO addresses, PO Boxes, or anything other than a physical street address. We do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska, U.S. Territories or commonwealths or outside the Continental United States

  • HOSPITAL: If you are sending a gift basket to a hospital please make absolutely certain that the recipient will be there once the gift arrives. If you have doubts, please ship the gift to the recipient’s home address, or to yourself to deliver in person. Basket Detectives-2 will not assume responsibility for gifts that are not delivered within a hospital due to the patient being dismissed or the hospital staff misplacing the gift.
  • BUSINESS: If you are sending a gift basket to a place of business, please note, that the package may be delivered to a dock or receiving area. It is recommended to notify someone at the business to let them know that a perishable/fragile package is being delivered. Basket Detectives-2 will not assume responsibility for the business being closed, the recipient not being available, a delay in receipt or improper storage conditions.
  • HOTELS: If you are sending a gift basket to a hotel, please make absolutely certain that the recipient will be in the hotel once the gift arrives. If you have doubts, please ship the gift to the recipient’s home address. Basket Detectives-2 will not assume responsibility for gifts that are not delivered to a hotel due to the guest checking out or the hotel staff misplacing the gift.
  • HOLIDAY ORDERS: For orders placed after December 10, we adhere to the same shipping policies of USPS and therefore cannot issue refunds due to delays as a result of high volume, severe weather or national disasters.

Basket Detectives-2 is not responsible for damage or delays due to severe weather or national disasters, improper storage or handling.

All gift baskets will be shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday thru Friday. Please be aware that shipments will not be made on Saturdays, Sundays or National Holidays. With this in mind, be sure to place your order early enough to arrive in time for your special occasion.

Baskets containing food, perishable or opened items may not be returned due to health concerns.

If for any reason you need to cancel your order, please notify us immediately. We cannot cancel. change or re-route orders already in transit. Once an item has been shipped no refund will be made, except as stated under or return and cancellations polices set forth herein.



If the items you chose are unavailable, an item of equal or greater value may be substituted. Due to the heat of the summer months, chocolates and other heat sensitive items will be replaced by more hearty selections of equal or greater value. These substitutions are done to ensure the timely arrival and freshness of your gifts as well as the integrity of the presentation.

We reserve the right to substitute pictured decorative containers or smaller plush animals with others of like shape, color, value and style.

Our customer service will contact you if a major substitution is necessary.



Basket Detectives-2 encourages it customers to write a review. When writing your reviews please consider the following:

  • Concentrate on the product and your experience.
  • Provide details about likes and dislikes about product.
  • Please keep your comments to 300 words or less.

We reserve the right not to post your review if it contains any of the following:

  • False or misleading information.
  • Obscenities, discriminatory language or other language not suitable for public.
  • Spam, any personal contact information or references to other products or websites.
  • Critical or malicious comments on other reviews or authors of reviews.

  • You are the sole author and owner.

  • All content that is submitted to Basket may be used at Basket Detective-2’s sole discretion. Basket Detectives-2, reserves the right to change, abbreviate or remove any content on its website. Basket Detectives-2 does not guarantee that you will have any recourse through Basket Detective-2 to edit or delete any content you have submitted. Ratings and written comments are generally posted within 3 to 5 business days. However, Basket Detectives-2 reserves the right to remove or to refuse to post any submission for any reason.
  • By submitting your email address in connection with your rating and review, you agree that Basket Detectives-2 and its third party service providers may use your email address to contact you about the status of your review and other administrative purposes.
